Forged and rolled steel wheels

MWL Brazil produces forged steel crane wheels customized to meet customer needs. The production process of a crane wheels and other products follows the same quality standards used in railroad wheel production.

Development

The heat treatment developed by MWL, quench and tempering, hardens the pieces, creating a tempered layer up to 25mm thick on the rolling surface.

MWL performs finishing for central holes, keyway holes, threaded holes and stress holes on the disc.
